Hyundai has finally added a panoramic sunroof to the diesel Alcazar in the form of the new Corporate variant. However, why did Hyundai not offer one in the first place? Well, the Alcazar petrol has one and in terms of weight and fuel efficiency, the diesel one did not plus to also meet the price point of the petrol, the panoramic sunroof was given a miss. However, now there is a voice enabled Panoramic sunroof in the Alcazar diesel.
The reason could be due to the increased demand for one and that’s why Hyundai has added this variant. The Corporate variant comes with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Some of the other features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dual-zone AC, LED headlamps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6 airbags and more. The diesel Corporate trim starts at Rs 17.86 lakh and it is available with a 7-seater option. Sunroof and especially a panoramic sunroof is in great demand especially in more premium family SUVs like the Alcazar and the diesel Corporate is worth getting overall.
The Panoramic sunroof is quite large and brings in additional light into the cabin and that appeals to buyers. The Alcazar was given a facelift along with its Creta sibling while getting a new look plus more features. The diesel engine remains the 1.5l unit with 116bhp and 250Nm of torque. The diesel still remains an integral part of the Alcazar and the Corporate variant will add to the sales when compared to the earlier Alcazar diesel.
