IPL Final Live: PBKS, RCB Eye Maiden Title Win Tonight

IPL Final RCB vs PBKS Score Live: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the IPL 2025 Final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, as the franchise cricket tournament of India will be crowning it’s new winner tonight.

Tonight, the so-called ‘Holy Trinity’ breaks tonight, as either of RCB or PBKS will realise their dream of being IPL champions. Two sides that have outperformed their opponents throughout the season, continue the trend of Top 2 making into the summit clash.

Since 2022, no side that has played in the Eliminator has managed to make into the Final. The last instance was back in 2021, when Kolkata Knight Riders defeated RCB & DC to contest the Final, only to lose to CSK in a dramatic fixture.

RCB have already defeated PBKS twice this season, and will be looking to complete a hat-trick, and with that, avoid a 4th consecutive IPL Final defeat. The Bengaluru-based side suffered the heartbreaks in 2009, 2011, and 2016, and with such a balanced side this time around, it will be very hard for PBKS to continue the trend.

For PBKS, this is only their 2nd-ever IPL Final appearance, with their first one coming in 2014, where the all-iconic KKR side led by Gautam Gambhir stunned the Punjab-based side in the fixture.
