With CSK set to face Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 3, questions are swirling across social media: Will MS Dhoni play in that match or not?

There are two key reasons why fans believe Dhoni might skip the upcoming game.

During the toss before the match against Punjab, Dhoni made a surprising remark that caught everyone’s attention. When asked if he would continue playing, he said, “I don’t know whether I will come for the next game or not.” This cryptic comment has led many to speculate that, with CSK now out of contention, Dhoni might choose to rest — or may have played his last match of the season.

Adding to the buzz is a video circulating on social media showing 22-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Vansh Bedi practicing with the gloves. The footage has sparked rumors that Bedi could make his debut in the match against RCB.

Bedi was signed by CSK for Rs 55 lakh after an impressive run in the Delhi Premier League. If Dhoni decides to sit out, the young keeper may get his first shot in the IPL.

With uncertainty around Dhoni’s participation, all eyes will be on CSK’s team sheet on May 3.
