‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ marks the first on-screen pairing of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, bringing together a fresh dynamic in this quirky romantic comedy.

The trailer, which dropped on April 10 via the makers’ official Instagram handle, is full of vibrant colors, quirky characters, and plenty of emotional tension. It was captioned, “Titli hai Ranjan ka pyaar; par haldi par atka hai uska sansaar. Toh dekhne zaroor aaiyega inki kahaani with parivaar. Get ready for a bhasad wali shaadi where everything goes wrong… #BhoolChukMaafTrailer Out Now. In cinemas on 9th May.”
Set in the culturally rich city of Varanasi, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ takes a humorous yet touching look at the age-old tug-of-war between “chokri aur naukri”—love and livelihood. With his world on pause and his wedding in limbo, Ranjan must figure out what Mahadev wants from him—and more importantly, what he truly wants for himself.

The film follows the story of Ranjan, a sincere government employee and die-hard romantic, whose perfect wedding plans take a wild turn. Just days before marrying his beloved Titli, he finds himself stuck in a bizarre time loop—reliving the same chaotic day over and over. As romance collides with responsibility, Ranjan must untangle the cosmic confusion to get his life back on track.
