- 2 Tablespoon Ghee
- 0.5 Cup Vermicelli
- 0.5 Cup Sugar
- 5 Dates
- 2 Tablespoon Almond
- 2 Tablespoon Cashew
- 2 Tablespoon Pistachio
- 1 Tablespoon Raisins
- 0.5 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Rose Water
- Saffron
Cooking Instructions
Heat ghee in a pan and add chopped nuts. Roast them until they are golden brown. Once done, remove them aside.
In the same pan roast vermicelli until it’s aromatic and light golden.
Take a deep pan and heat milk in it. Stir it occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add the roasted vermicelli to hot milk and stir well. Add in the chopped dates, roasted nuts, and raisins.
Add sugar to it and stir. Sprinkle cardamom powder and saffron strands for and added aroma and flavour.
Simmer it for a while and let the flours blend.
Add rose water for a subtle floral note.
