Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season has begun with high-intensity action, treating fans to several thrilling encounters in just the first week.
On Wednesday, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) cruised to an eight-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals. Chasing a 152-run target, KKR faced an early hiccup but rode on Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 97 to comfortably seal the victory with eight wickets in hand.

SRH take on LSG in IPL 2025 match no. 7
The seventh match of IPL 2025 will feature Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) taking on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The match is set to begin at 7:30 PM IST. While SRH started their campaign with a convincing win over Rajasthan Royals, LSG is still searching for its first won after a disappointing loss to Delhi Capitals in their season opener.
Lucknow’s bowling attack struggled in their opening match. As a result, LSG may consider bringing in fit-again Avesh Khan, who has 74 wickets in 62 IPL matches and could strengthen their bowling lineup.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting unit looks in top form. Openers Travis Head and Ishan Kishan have been in explosive touch, making them a formidable challenge for LSG’s bowlers.
