Aamir Khan recently addressed the long-awaited possibility of Bollywood’s three biggest superstars—himself, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan—uniting on screen. Speaking to the media ahead of his 60th birthday, the actor expressed that while the trio is eager to collaborate, it all depends on finding the perfect script. While Salman and Aamir famously starred in the cult comedy ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ (1994), few are aware that Aamir and Shah Rukh briefly appeared together in the 1993 film ‘Pehla Nasha’.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film featured Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bhatt, and Raveena Tandon in lead roles and was a remake of the 1984 thriller ‘Body Double’.
In ‘Pehla Nasha’, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rahul Roy, and Sudesh Berry made cameo appearances in a scene that has recently resurfaced on social media. The clip shows all the actors, including Deepak Tijori, delivering dialogues referencing their own film titles. Interestingly, Deepak Tijori takes the name ‘Baazigar’ instead of Shah Rukh Khan—highlighting the lesser-known fact that the film was initially offered to him before SRK eventually starred in it.
Netizens react
The viral clip has sparked a flurry of reactions online. One user commented, “The only film where SRK and Aamir appear in a scene together.” Another humorously speculated about Salman’s absence, writing, “I was waiting for Bhai to enter at the end.”
A surprised fan wrote, “What in the multiverse is this! When did this happen? 😂” while another observed, “Irony that Rahul Roy and Deepak Tijori are nowhere today. Deepak Tijori was originally offered Baazigar.”

Deepak Tijori himself once spoke about the cameo in a conversation with Manju Ramanan on her YouTube channel. Reminiscing about the shoot, he shared, “We were all friends who got together. Pooja was close to me, Raveena was close to me. Then Ashu brought in Shah Rukh, Aamir for that one scene, which is a unique moment of life. So that is how we started making that film for fun. We would play dumb charades on set and would arrive two hours early just to enjoy ourselves.”
Aamir Khan on working with Salman and Shah Rukh
During his media interaction, Aamir spoke about working with Salman and Shah Rukh, stating, “Salman, Shah Rukh, and I would love to work together… We are waiting for the right script to come. I think the audience also wants to see us together, and we have discussed it as well. If any good story comes (our way), we will definitely do it.”
Aamir and Salman delivered comedy gold with ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, while Salman and Shah Rukh have shared the screen in memorable films like ‘Karan Arjun’ (1995), ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998), ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’ (2005), and most recently, ‘Pathaan’ (2023).
