Speaking of India’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, they are the only unbeaten side in the tournament. India secured a place in the final by defeating Steve Smith-led Australia in the semifinals, while New Zealand booked their spot by overcoming Temba Bavuma’s South Africa. If India manage to beat New Zealand in the final, it will mark their second ICC title in less than a year, having already clinched the T20 World Cup in 2024.

Kohli has been in outstanding form for India in the Champions Trophy, having scored 217 runs in four matches ahead of the final, including a century in the group stage clash against Pakistan. He remains in contention to end the tournament as the highest run-scorer.
