Is Rohit Sharma planning to retire after ICC Champions Trophy 2025? Ahead of IND vs NZ Final in Dubai, Shubman Gill was asked about the veteran opener’s future. Gill dismissed the speculation, stating that no discussions have taken place regarding Rohit’s retirement.
“There has been no such talk in the dressing room; we are only thinking about the match. Rohit also isn’t thinking like that. After the match, he will think if there is anything,” Gill told reporters in Dubai, InsideSport reported.
Shubman clarified that Rohit hasn’t discussed retirement with the team. He added that if Rohit plans to make a decision, it will likely come after the ICC Champions Trophy final.
“Rohit also isn’t thinking like that. After the match (IND vs NZ Champions Trophy Final on Sunday), he will think if there is anything,” Gill added.
