CT 2025 Final: Crores At Stake For Winner, Runner-Up To Get Rich Too

The Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place on Sunday (March 9), with a massive prize pool at stake.

If Team India lifts its third Champions Trophy title, it will receive a whopping Rs 19.5 crore in prize money. However, even the runner-up won’t go empty-handed, as the ICC has allocated Rs 9.75 crore for the second-placed team.

Also, the two semi-finalist teams that missed out on the final will receive Rs 4.85 crore each. Teams finishing in fifth and sixth place will be awarded Rs 3 crore, while the seventh and eighth-placed teams will take home Rs 1.2 crore each.

Good news for India! Positive update ahead of title clash

With a chance to claim their third Champions Trophy title, Team India will look to capitalize on a advantage – IND vs NZ CT 2025 Final will be played on the same pitch where they comfortably defeated Pakistan in the group stage on February 23, Cricbuzz reported. Given the conditions, spinners are expected to play a key role once again.

The surface has been well-preserved since then, ensuring similar playing conditions. In that match, fast bowlers struggled, taking only five wickets at an average of 53.4, while spinners proved more effective, claiming seven wickets at an average of 30.

No 300-run total in Dubai yet

So far in the Champions Trophy 2025 tournament, no team has managed to score 300+ runs in Dubai, despite multiple ILT20 matches being played at the venue before the Champions Trophy. The highest total recorded in this edition came during the semi-final between India and Australia, where India successfully chased down 265.

In IND vs PAK CT 2025 group-stage game, Pakistan opted to bat first but were restricted to 241 in 49.4 overs, thanks to a disciplined effort from Indian spinners – Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja – who collectively took five wickets.

In response, Virat Kohli’s unbeaten century guided India to a comfortable six-wicket win.
