Significance Of Fasting For Rozedars

During Ramadan, every Muslim observes fasting from dawn to dusk for 29 to 30 days. However, fasting is not just about abstaining from food and water; true fasting purifies the body, mind, and soul. A true Rozedar is one who continues good deeds and habits even after Ramadan ends.

As the month of Ramadan begins, the practice of fasting also starts. In this sequence, the fourth fast of Ramadan will be observed on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. This fourth fast is considered an advocate in the worship of Allah, meaning that by fasting with pure intentions and sincerity, a person earns Allah’s blessings and goodwill.

Sehri-Iftar Timing

Fasting throughout the month of Ramadan holds great significance. However, a fast is considered complete only when it is observed according to the proper rules. For this, it is essential for fasting individuals to have Sehri (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (meal to break the fast) at the correct time. Sehri is a light meal eaten before beginning the fast, followed by the intention of fasting. In the evening, the fast is broken with Iftar. To ensure the fast is valid, it is crucial to observe Sehri and Iftar at the right time. If done incorrectly, the fast may not be considered valid.

Since Sehri and Iftar timings vary by a few minutes in different cities, it is important to know the specific timing for the fourth day of Ramadan. On March 5, you can check the Sehri and Iftar timings for cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Patna, and others.
