Box Office Success
Since its release on February 14, Chhaava has dominated the box office, grossing over ₹500 crore worldwide. It now stands as the second-highest-grossing Hindi period epic, only behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Domestically, the film has amassed ₹385 crore and is poised to cross the ₹400 crore mark by Thursday. With its strong momentum, Chhaava could well be on track to achieve a remarkable ₹700 crore globally.
Maharashtra has proven to be the strongest market for the film, given the region’s deep reverence for Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is also gaining traction in Rajasthan and West Bengal, with mid-week footfalls on the rise.
With its powerful storytelling and grand visuals, Chhaava is set to captivate Telugu audiences as well.
