Ibrahim Zadran Reflects On Historic Ton Vs England

Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan):

“First of all, I’m thanks to my Dear Allah. It’s not easy to get back to international cricket after the injury. The expectation was there from me. I was expecting this kind of innings from me as well. I was putting myself under pressure and that helped me enjoyed my innings. I’m trying to take my time. Want to work on basics. Not think about anything extra. Just want to stay disciplined which is important in international cricket. If I stay disciplined, I will score more in international cricket.”

“Younis Khan has played a lot of cricket in Pakistan. I have a chat with him. I also had a chat with Jonathan Trott. I didn’t get big scores in the last two innings. I asked him what different he saw in the last few innings. He said you are playing well and just carry on. Once you get 50-60, you will score big. Before this game, I had a chat with Rashid. Whenever I have a chat with Rashid, I score big.”
