First-Ever Afghani Batter To Score CT Ton
Ibrahim Zadran became the nation’s first-ever centurion at the ICC ODI World Cups, and has now become the first-ever Afghanistan cricketer to do so in ICC Champions Trophy. His blistering 177-run knock lasted 146 balls, which included 12 fours and 6 sixes, as English bowlers looked helpless against the former Afghanistan captain.
The Trend Continues!
At ICC Champions Trophy 2025, every completed match so far has seen atleast one centurion. Ibrahim Zadran has kept the streak alive with his record-breaking ton against England. The Afghan batter now becomes the first-ever batter from the nation to register a 150+ score at ICC tournaments.
