Champions Trophy 2025 Updated Points Table, Most Runs & Wickets List After AUS vs SA Match

Champions Trophy 2025 Updated Points Table, Most Runs & Wickets List After AUS vs SA Match

Champions Trophy 2025 Points Table: The seventh match of the 2025 Champions Trophy between Australia and South Africa, scheduled for February 25 (Tuesday) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was called off due to persistent rain. The AUS vs SA match was abandoned without even the toss taking place as both Steve Smith-led Australia and Temba Bavuma-led South Africa ended up sharing one point each.

As a result, South Africa retain the top spot in the Champions Trophy 2025 Group B points table, ahead of Australia due to a superior Net Run Rate (NRR). This makes Wednesday’s Group B clash between England and Afghanistan a potential knockout match for both teams.

In Group A, New Zealand and India have secured their spots in the semifinals. The outcome of their match on March 2 will decide which team finishes at the top.

Notably, regardless of whether Afghanistan or England win their upcoming match, they must secure victory in their next game to guarantee a Top 2 finish. Meanwhile, the extra point gives Australia and South Africa a slight edge in the race for the semifinals.

Here’s a look at the updated Champions Trophy 2025 points table after the AUS vs SA match:
