IPL 2015 Final: IPL Final action is all set to return to Eden Gardens for the 2025 edition, and fans in Kolkata will see an end to their 10-year wait for the mega event. The last time ‘Mecca Of Indian Cricket’ hosted an IPL Final was way back in 2015, contested between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
The fixture ended in a one-sided dominance for Rohit Sharma’s men, who secured their 2nd IPL title, thereby, joining Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders as the only IPL franchises to win the tournament on multiple occasions.
The dominance did not stop there, as ‘MI Paltan’ ended up winning three more titles (2017, 2019, 2020) to become the first-ever franchise in the league’s history to register 5 title triumphs.
