An intense reaction unfolded in Gujarat’s Bharuch, where a man was arrested for damaging a theatre screen mid-screening. Identified as Jayesh Vasava, the individual reportedly lost control during a harrowing sequence depicting Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s torture at the hands of Aurangzeb.
According to reports, Vasava, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, climbed onto the podium and used a fire extinguisher to damage the screen before tearing it apart with his hands. Theatre staff intervened and restrained him before calling the police. Vasava was taken into custody.

RK Cinema’s general manager R.V. Sood confirmed the incident to Economic Times and stated, “A patron had damaged the screen with a fire extinguisher and torn it apart. We immediately removed him from the auditorium and informed the police.”

Earlier, a fan in Nagpur made a dramatic entrance at a theatre on horseback while dressed as the legendary warrior surrounded by men beating dhols and chanting slogans. A widely shared video captures the enthusiastic fan seated on a horse inside the theatre, passionately shouting ‘Jai Bhavani’. Meanwhile, Chhaava continues its dream run at the box office. The film has raked in over ₹140 crore domestically within just four days and is expected to cross the ₹200 crore mark soon.
