Himesh Reshammiya’s action-packed entertainer Badass Ravi Kumar may have witnessed a slight slowdown in collections, but it remains well ahead of Loveyapa at the box office. After a thunderous opening, the film’s earnings dipped on Day 2 but held strong enough to maintain its lead.
As a high-energy spin-off of the 2014 hit The Xposé, the film continues to showcase its box office potential. Meanwhile, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa is still struggling to establish a foothold.
Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Performance
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Badass Ravi Kumar saw a drop in collections on its first Saturday, bringing in ₹1.99 crore on Day 2. With this decline, the film’s total earnings now stand at ₹4.74 crore. The film had an explosive start with ₹2.75 crore on its opening day, marking Himesh’s biggest opener to date!
On Day 2, Badass Ravi Kumar recorded an overall occupancy of 9.38%, with morning shows at 6.74% and afternoon shows rising to 12.01%. Despite the dip, Himesh Reshammiya’s action-packed film continued to outperform Loveyapa, which managed ₹1.16 crore on its second day, bringing its total to ₹2.31 crore, according to early estimates.
The Xposé Legacy and Star-Studded Cast
Back in 2014, Himesh Reshammiya’s The Xposé debuted with an opening-day collection of ₹1.89 crore, as reported by Box Office India. Its spin-off, Badass Ravi Kumar, was reportedly made on a massive budget of ₹21 crore.
Directed by Keith Gomes and produced under the Himesh Reshammiya Melodies banner, the film features a power-packed ensemble cast, including Prabhu Deva, Manish Wadhwa, Kirti Kulhari, Sanjay Mishra, Sunny Leone, and Saurabh Sachdeva.
