Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh ended his Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 on a mixed note, as the all-rounder was part of the victorious side who won the series 3-1, but recorded a miserable run with the bat.
The right-handed batsman scored 73 runs in 7 innings, and averaged 10.47 across the series. Most of the times, he was troubled by Indian legend Jasprit Bumrah.
During the Cricket Australia Award Ceremony, the 33-year-old recalled his ‘nighmare’ battle against the 2024 Cricketer of the Year in a hilarious incident.

“My newphew, Ted, he’s 4 years old. We were playing backyard cricket the other day, and he came in with Bumrah’s action and the nightmare continued (laughs),” said Mitchell Marsh.
