Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recently shared an old video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his X account. In the video the PM can be seen promoting health measures to prevent obesity. The actor, known for his commitment to fitness and wellness, fully supported the Prime Minister’s message and encouraged his fans to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

PM Modi’s Message On Combating Obesity

In the video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the rising obesity rates in India, particularly among youth, and its link to various health issues like diabetes and heart diseases. He expressed his happiness about the Fit India Movement, which was launched on 29th August, 2019. The movement encouraged people to stay fit and make physical activity a part of their daily routine.

PM Modi urged people to focus on two key aspects: exercise and diet. He encouraged daily physical activity like walking or working out and advised adopting a balanced diet with full of nutrition. He recommended reducing the intake of unhealthy fats and processed food. Apart from this, he also encouraged households to cut down they oil consumption by 10%.

He concluded by emphasising that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and overall well-being.
