On January 26 (Sunday), 2025, the nation celebrated its 76th Republic Day. The occasion is marked with great enthusiasm, featuring a variety of events taking place across the country. Indian cricketers, former and present, also extended their Republic Day wishes on their respective social media handles.
On India’s 76th Republic Day, Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul, Sachin Tendulkar and pacer Mohammed Shami, among others, took to social media to extend their greetings.
“The country gives us rights, but we must also remember our duties as citizens of India! HappyRepublicDay Jai Hind,” wrote the Team India head coach, Gautam Gambhir, on X.
KL Rahul, on the other hand, wrote, “Celebrating the spirit of freedom and unity. Happy Republic Day to all.”
