After bundling them out for merely 31 runs, India Women chased down the target inside 3 overs, as they now hold the record of the 2nd-fastest chase in the history of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 Word Cups.

“It was very simple plan for me. I just had to bowl according to the batsman and the pitch. Also, in case if the batter tries to shuffle, I knew I just have to keep it simple and follow her, and my main motive was to bowl within the stumps,” said Vaishnavi Sharma, during the post-match presentation ceremony.
“(On Hat-trick) I felt like I was dreaming. I could not believe what unfolded before my eyes, just a sweet dream,” she added.
