Women’s Premier League 2025 Auction: Full List Of Sold Players For WPL 2025

Full list of sold players for WPL 2025: The much-anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction is taking place on December 15 in Bengaluru. Check below the complete list of players sold in this year’s WPL auction as teams gear up to build their squads for the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season.

The WPL 2025 auction features 19 slots to be filled, including five reserved for overseas players. A total of 120 players are up for selection, comprising 91 Indian and 29 international cricketers. The base prices for players range from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, offering a mix of opportunities for emerging and established talent.

In Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025, each team has been given a budget of Rs 15 crore to build a squad of up to 18 players, including a maximum of six overseas players. Teams had the opportunity to retain players from the previous season prior to the auction.

Most franchises retained their core groups but released some players to free up funds for new acquisitions during the auction. The total value of retained players was deducted from Rs 15 crore budget, determining the remaining purse for the auction.

Gujarat Giants have entered the auction with the largest purse of Rs 4.4 crore, while Delhi Capitals, runners-up in both 2023 and 2024, have the smallest purse at Rs 2.5 crore.

All five franchises are strategically bidding to build their squads, making this auction a high-stakes and exciting event.
