The Himesh Reshammiya film has also collected Rs. 2.75 cr on its opening day, almost double of ‘Loveyapa’. ‘Badass Ravikumar’ also marks Himesh’s biggest opener till date. As per Sacnilk.com, ‘Badass Ravikumar’ has a 17.28% overall Hindi occupancy on its opening day (February 7). The film’s India collection is quite impressive and word-of-mouth reviews are leading to more people flocking in theatres.

‘Badass Ravikumar’ is also doing well in small tier-2 cities.

Himesh Reshammiya began acting in 2007 when his film ‘Aap Ka Surroor’ released. At the time, the film collected Rs. Rs 1.79 cr. In 2014, Himesh Reshamiiya’s ‘The Xposé’ opened to a Rs. 1.89 cr, a Box Office India report stated. However, his 2020 outing ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’, collected a meagre Rs. 15 lakh on Day 1 and collected a total of Rs. 71 lakh in total box office collections. Now, in 2025, Reshammiya has begun the year with a bang. His ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ has started with a promising number which could even get better over the weekend.

Despite the good performance, only time will tell if ‘Badass Ravikumar’ can match up to its cost of production. The Himesh Reshammiya film has been bankrolled on an extremely high budget of Rs. 21 cr. However, as per several reports, the film has recovered this amount through music rights and subsidies.
